Nice lamp and a color changing led bulb does fitSo far we love it. I wasn't sure a color changing LED bulb would fit it and it does except the lamp sits ON the bulb, so the selenite lamp hole isn't deep enough but you cant really tell. See pics. The regular small night light bulbs obviously fit better and flushed to the base. I have attached pics of lamp including the color changing bulb that I purchased separately and how it fits on the base along with measurements. The dimmer switch won't dim with the color changing bulb, the only way to dim it would be with the remote. However, a regular night light bulb dims nicely and smoothly with the dimmer switch. The color changing LED bulb is a little too bright for sleep even on its lowest remote setting but it's very very nice and at its brightest, it's super bright
